Port Embarks on ‘Focus Fidalgo’ Cleanup Initiative

Paul supports the"Focus Fidalgo" cleanup initiative. The Port of Anacortes, in partnership with the Washington State Department of Ecology (DOE), to begin cleanup of contaminated soil northwest of the boat launch at Cap Sante Boat Haven.

This site, which includes approximately one-half acre of land leased to tenant Cap Sante Marine, is the first of five cleanup sites identified by the Port of Anacortes. Focus Fidalgo integrates remediation, habitat restoration, redevelopment, and public access improvements into a single, planned and coordinated effort.

Paul will be a strong supporter of the Environment and the Port of Anacortes for this cleanup Initiative.
